How To Program Hanabishi Universal Remote
- “Turn on” the device you wish to control with Hanabishi universal remote.
- Insert new batteries into the remote and keep the remote in front of the device.
- If the remote has a “PROGRAMMING” button, press it until the LED light stays solid. If you notice the remote has a “SET” or “SETUP” button, press it until the LED light turns on and releases the button. If the remote hasn’t had the “PROGRAMMING” or “SET” button, you can press the “TV” or “DVD” or any other button you want to program until the LED lights up.
- After this, release the button and enter the code on the remote using the remote keys. The LED indicator will go off after it receives a valid code. If the LED blinks and stays solid, enter another code until the LED turns off.
- Once this procedure is completed, press the “POWER” button on the remote until the device turns off.
Turn back on the device using the remote control and test the remote buttons to control the device. If all the functions work accurately, the remote is programmed successfully. If not, you can try the remaining codes.
How Do I Find The Code For My Hanabishi Universal Remote?
You can find Hanabishi remote codes in the user manual with the new Hanabishi universal remote or in this post. We added all the remote codes that are recommended for your devices. You can find the device name and type while choosing the code. If we suggest several codes for a single device, you can note down all of them and try until the remote gets the correct code.
Why Is My Hanabishi Universal Remote Not Working
There are several reasons why the Philips universal remote is not working. I will explain fixes to resolve the issue, which include:
Insert New Batteries: Insert new batteries into the remote to avoid power supply errors during the remote connectivity.
Reprogram the remote: Even the remote is programmed with a code that may not work if the device model is different from the assigned code. So program the remote again using the different code and check the remote back to control the device.
Run the Power Cycle: You can try the power cycle after fixing these two fixes. Remove all wires from the device and leave the device for ten minutes and press the “POWER” button on the remote you wish to control with a remote. After this, connect all the cables and test the remote.
Conclusion:
Hanabishi is a universal remote that assigns several codes for your brand name and type. It would help if you used these codes to program your remote control. You can try the remaining codes if they code doesn’t work for your device. If you have any errors during the programming, leave a comment to us.
